Christmas 2023 Trends

Its nearly December, time to get festive!

Christmas Trees

At the heart of the festive season is the Christmas tree – the must have in every house or apartment.  Choosing a Christmas tree and decorating it really does kick start the celebrations and can be such a special day.

Christmas trees come in all shapes and sizes and styles.  Perhaps this year you should branch out and try something new…our top five choices are below:

Frosted

The perfect tree to recreate picturesque wintry landscapes.  A faux, frosted Christmas tree is the perfect centre piece for a winter wonderland at home.  With the ‘snow’ already in place, you can decorate the tree with complete peace of mind – no ‘snow’ dropping as you hang decorations.

Ombre

A trend in so many sectors at the moment, from fashion and beauty to Christmas trees!  For a truly different, distinctive and uniquely delightful tree, opt for a pre-lit Ombre Christmas Tree.  With cream branches at the top, grey in the middle and black at the bottom, all full of warm white LED lights, this is a truly modern take on a classic Christmas tree.

Artistic

With faux flowers still big in interiors, it is no surprise that this trend has moved over to Christmas trees; the Faux Pampas Grass Christmas tree.  A tree like no other, artificial blush-coloured pampas grass stems have been artfully positioned in the shape of a Christmas tree, creating a wonderful and wild look.

Dazzling

For a truly dazzling Christmas tree, full of glitz and glamour, picking a metallic tree is the best option.  For warmth choose gold as the lights reflect creating a magnificent glow, or for a contemporary look go with silver.  Gold foliage combined with warm white lights will always look great!

Classic

Real, traditional Christmas trees are hard to beat.  Unique and authentic – no two trees are ever the same!  They come in all different sizes, fill your home with a festive scent and look spectacular.  There are lots of types to choose from too, from the Norway spruce, Nordmann fir and Fraser fir to the Blue spruce, and buying local is best.

The Wreath

Every door should have a wreath on at Christmas.  Not only do they look fantastic, but they always offer a warm welcome to guests during the festive season.

Again, wreaths come in all different designs, from traditional greenery and red berries to colourful and full of baubles.  We’ve picked three of our favourites below:

Multicoloured

Capturing the fun of Christmas, this multicoloured wreath made completely of baubles will inject colour to any door or hallway.

Mulled wine

A beautiful wreath that uses colours linked to a warm glass of mulled wine; rich reds, raspberry shades and orange accents.  Pine cones and seasonal greenery add depth and finish the design.
